Teaching methods

Summary

Control of changes of generic description is done as a kernel of heuristic methods. The aim of the course is generalisation these methods and following specification into the controllable programmable system. The systems of heuristic optimisation represent an important step between the behavioural description and functional description of the system. The function description, which is generated by decomposition of heuristic (algorithmic) description, is possible optimised with respect to this decomposition.

Subject syllabus:

Přednášky: Specifikace číslicových systémů jazykem, prostředky teorie grafů a pomocí Petriho sítí. Využití teorie konečných automatů. Metody formální verifikace. Použití simulace pro verifikaci časování. Formulace problému syntézy podle výchozího algoritmu. Heuristické metody minimalizace. Vyjádření pomocí regulárních struktur. Řešení úlohy rozkladu. Metoda větví a mezí. Heuristické metody konstruktivní a iterativní. Procedurální heuristické popisy a jejich optimalizace. Hierarchie struktur. Konverze typů. Generický popis a jeho parametrizace. Využití knihovních parametrizovaných prvků při heuristické optimalizaci popisu. Projekty: Projekt zpracovaný ke zkoušce je střední složitosti a vede absolventa ke zvládnutí problematiky na profesionálních návrhových systémech.
