Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Basic theoretical skills for analysis and design of information systems. Accepting basic properties for data processing theory. Construction, specification and analysis of requirements for information system. Basic knowledge for operation with health care information system.

Summary

The aim of the course is to introduce theoretical background of an analysis and a creation of information systems. Every student applies its theoretical knowledge to implement a simple information system in a database enviroment.

Subject syllabus:

Přednášky: Základní prvky architektury počítačů, von Neumannovo schema. Software - operační systémy, aplikační software. Počítačové sítě. Internet - služby používané na Internetu. Systém, informační systémy, systémy řízení báze dat, základní pojmy databázové teorie. Životní cyklus projektu - etapy a jejich stručná charakteristika. Specifikace. Analýza projektu, nástroje analýzy. Datové modely - E-R model, datový slovník. Funkční modely - DFD diagramy, kontextový diagram.. Yourdonova strukturovaná analýza. Návrh projektu, testování, dokumentace. CASE systémy. Projekty: Zpracování vlastních www stránek. Vytvoření informačního systému malého rozsahu.
