Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to learn students with the functions of Head of Department of Informatics and / or Project Manager in medium and large business with the organization and management of the Department of Informatics in a largely industrial firms and IT companies. On the basis of this knowledge students should prove to orient the organization and processes of IT in schools and international companies. It is also a preparation course for the subject of Project Management.

Summary

The course is designed for students who have expressed interest in the principles of IT governance. The course gives a cross section of IT manager and / or Project manager duties in the medium and large enterprises. It puts the necessary emphasis on economic issues and issues of management and leadership associated with the operation and management of IT projects and illustrates the use of technical and economical methods to control both the daily operation of IT structures and to plan large-scale systems.
