Summary

The seminar is designed for students who have completed courses of computer graphics, and intend to make the state exam from the course Computer Graphics. The seminar will be organized in the form of lectures and discussions on these lectures. Lecturers will be experts from universities, who are specialists in the field.

Submission of 4 reports related to the contents of lectures is needed for obtaining the marks.

Lectures: Algorithms, complexity and efficiency of algorithms Fundamental geometrical algorithms, intersection computation Scalar data visualization methods (medical data visualization - CT, MRI) Geometric modeling Hash function – application in computer graphics Data interpolation and image reconstruction Geometric computation in projective space Digital holography – Ultimate 3D rendering Algorithm acceleration in computer graphics and video processing Virtual reality systems and haptic systems Data compression in computer graphics
