Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students are expected to work individually on a topic (project) under the leadership of the tutor. The work is often the initial phase of the project, aimed at understanding the solved problems, and design of a solution. The tutor will determine a degree of completion and the results of this phase.

Summary

Student during the course Semestral project I solves, under the supervision of the tutor, tasks, which are connected with the semestral project. Student is introduced to the solved problems, fulfills the specified goals of the solution of the diploma thesis. One of the part of the semester project is the selection of subjects recommended by the research group. Tutorials: Tutorials are led in consultation form with tutor, who leads the semestral project. Familiarization with the project goal. Familiarization with the expected results of the project (partial result in the project solution process). Determining the schedule of the project solution. Determining the necessary software and hardware tools and literature for solution of the project and ensuration it. Regular consultation with the tutor. Continuous presentation of partial results.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

V průběhu semestru hodnotí a vede studenta po odborné stránce vedoucí semestrálního projektu. Podmínky udělení zápočtu: Pravidelné konzultace s vedoucím projektu. Další podmínky stanoví vedoucí semestrálního projektu. Zpravidla se jedná o splnění stanovených cílů, úvodní fáze jejího řešení, o odevzdání a prezentaci rozpracovaného semestrálního projektu.

Subject syllabus:

Exercise: Practices take place in consultation with the tutor, who leads a specific project. Introduction to the project. Getting to know the expected results of the project (partial result). Definition of a timetable for the project. Determining the necessary software and hardware tools and literature to the project and collateral. Regular consultation with the teacher. Continuous presentation of partial results.
