Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The student will demonstrate the ability to independent engineering work. The tutor will supervise the individual work on a given topic. Usually, this is the final phase of the project, which aims to utilize solutions already developed
in the past and complete the project in accordance with the tutor’s specifications and instructions.

Summary
Student during the course Semestral project II solves, under the supervision of the tutor, tasks, which are connected with the semestral project. Student finishes the solution of the project, presents results and prepare the final report of the semestral project.
Tutorials:
Tutorials are led in consultation form with tutor, who leads the semestral project.
Stanovení harmonogramu řešení projektu - final phases of the sulution of the semestral project.
Regular consultation with the tutor.
Continuous presentation of partial results.
Recommendations for the preparation of the final report of the semester project - syllabus and layout of the text part, scope, typographic adjustment, means for rate, language checking. Information on the electronic form of processing the final report.
Information on the course and form of defense of the final report of the semester project.
Preparation for defense of the final report of the semester project in the form of presentations about the current state of the solution of the semester project.
Projects:
Solving of partial tasks (projects) related to the topic of the semester project and determined by the tutor, leading to the successful finalization of the semester project.

Basic literature will be determined by the thesis supervisor according to the topic. Mandatory guidelines for the semestral project are available on web pages of FEI VŠB-TU Ostrava.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Podmínky udělení zápočtu:
Podmínky udělení zápočtu určí vyučující - vedoucí semestrálního projektu. Zpravidla se jedná o splnění stanovených cílů závěrečné fáze řešení semestrálního projektu, o odevzdání dokončeného semestrálního projektu v rozsahu stanoveném v jeho zadání a v termínu definovaném v harmonogramu studia.
