Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Students are expected to work individually on a topic (project) under the leadership of the supervisor. The work is often the initial phase of the Diploma Project, aimed at understanding the solved problems, and design of a solution. The supervisor will determine a degree of completion and the results of this phase.

Summary

Within Diploma Project I, the student solves tasks related to the assigned diploma thesis under the guidance of a designated teacher. He or she gets acquainted mainly with the solved problems and fulfills the diploma thesis' set of partial goals. An integral part of the diploma project is the choice of subjects recommended by the expert group, which will facilitate a complete understanding of the topic and objectives of the work.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Podmínky udělení zápočtu určí vyučující - vedoucí diplomové práce. Zpravidla se jedná o splnění stanovených cílů, úvodní fáze jejího řešení, o odevzdání a prezentaci rozpracované diplomové práce.

Subject syllabus:

Exercises: Exercises take place in the form of consultations with the teacher who leads the specific work. These are in particular the following: 1. Getting acquainted with the diploma thesis. 2. Familiarization with the expected results (partial result in solving the diploma thesis). 3. Determining the solution schedule. 4. Identify the necessary software and hardware tools and literature to solve the work and their provision. 5. Regular consultations with the teacher. 6. Continuous presentation of partial results.
