The main goal of the course is to introduce integral equations to students. Students should be able to use integral equations for solution of some special engineering problems.

Second order ordinary differential equations and integral equations.
Banach fixed point theorem.
Integral equations of the second kind.
Fredholm's theorems.
Boundary values problems in 2D and 3D.
Green's formulas.
The representation formula.
Potentials and their properties.
Introduction to BEM (indirect and direct method).
