Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The main objective of the course is to describe the fundamental physics of the surface plasmon resonce (SPR) phenomenon. The SPR effect can be utilized for the construction of specific type of optical sensors. Students who complete this course are able to analyze the suitability of SPR sensor application and design a solution to the given sensoric problem.
