Teaching methods



The subject is conceived as a part of theoretical technical background of Master's degree. Students will build on the classical physics basis (Physics I and Physics II courses) and extend their physical knowledge to modern physics. At the same time, they will deepen their knowledge of classical areas of physics, which can be used to study follow-up optional subjects in master study. Physics II uses differential and integral calculus, differential equations and vector analysis. The aim of the course is to gain knowledge of those areas of physics that are needed for further engineering applications.
