Demonstrate basic heat properties of crystals
Discuss and interpret the elastic and plastic deformation of the crystals
Classify simple alloys and their arrangement

Summary
The course builds on the knowledge of mathematics, physics and chemistry. The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic concepts and methods in physics and solid state chemistry especially in the field of crystal structure with emphasis on applications in material engineering.
