Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Goal of this course is that students acquire a view about instrumentation in diagnostic and therapy of illnesses in pediatry.

The course makes students acquainted with the knowledge of children's ailment, application of biomedical engineering in diagnostic and therapy.

Subject syllabus:

Přednášky: 1.Diagnostická a léčebná technika v pediatrii. 2.Genetika - základní přehled. Vady chromosomální, vady genové, poradenství, rodokmen, vyšetřování v genetice. 3.Fyziologie a patologie novorozeneckého období. 4.Choroby srdce a cév v dětském věku, choroby krve u dětí. 5.Choroby centrálního nervového systému u dětí. 6.Choroby zažívacího traktu u dětí. 7.Choroby respiračního systému u dětí. 8.Choroby ledvin a urotraktu u dětí. 9.Poruchy imunity, alergická onemocnění u dětí, endokrinopatie, diabetes mellitus u dětí. 10.Dětská onkologie. 11.Chronická a invalidizující onemocnění u dětí. 12.Závěrečné shrnutí, diskuse.
