The study subject is the 4th part of the basic physics course, focused on atomic and nuclear physics.

Subject syllabus:

Module content: - Thomson and Rutherford model, elektron shell, atomic spectra, Bohr model of the hydrogen atom. - Characteristics of atomic nuclei, shell model. - Radioactivity, nuclear reactions. - Interaction of radiation with matter, dosimetry. - Particles, fundamental interactions. - Acceleration and detection of particles.
