Classify and compare basic types of the crystal structures and bonds
Demonstrate basic heat properties of crystals
Discuss and interpret the elastic and plastic deformation of the crystals
Classify simple alloys and their arrangement

Předmět navazuje na znalosti studenta z matematiky, fyziky a chemie. Cílem
předmětu je seznámit posluchače se základními pojmy a metodami ve fyzice a
chemii pevných látek především v oblasti krystalové struktury s důrazem na
aplikace v materiálovém inženýrství.
