Teaching methods

Summary

The aim of the subject is to obtain an overview of physical laws and basic physical knowledge needed for study at technical university and application of basic equations in practice. Physics II concurs Physics I and includes electricity and magnetism, oscillations (including optics), basics of quantum mechanics and nuclear physics.

Subject syllabus:

IV. FYZIKÁLNÍ POLE (2. část) 2. Elektrostatické pole (opakování) 3. Elektrický proud (opakování) 4. Magnetické pole. Charakteristiky, Ampérův zákon celkového proudu, síly působící v mg. poli, mg. pole v látkovém prostředí, Hopkinsonův zákon. 5. Elektromagnetické pole. Elmg. indukce, vzájemná a vlastní indukce, energie mg. pole,střídavý proud a jeho obvody, Maxwellovy rovnice. V. KMITY A VLNY 1. Mechanické kmity. Zákl. pojmy, harmonický pohyb, skládání kmitů. 2. Elektromagnetické kmity. 3. Mechanické vlny. Vlnění lineárních útvarů, interference vlnění, stojaté vlnění, šíření vlnění v prostoru, energie vlnění, vlnová rovnice. 4. Elektromagnetické vlnění. Vznik, vlastnosti, druhy, Poyntingův vektor. 5. Optika. Obsah a rozdělení, základní pojmy a zákony. Zobrazení fotometrie, interference, difrakce, polarizace, disperze a absorpce světla, přehled optických přístrojů. VI. ÚVOD DO SPECIÁLNÍ TEORIE RELATIVITY Einsteinův princip relativity, Lorentzovy transformace,kontrakce délek, dilatace času, pojem současnosti,závislost hmotnosti na rychlosti, hmotnost a energie,energie a hybnost. VII. KVANTOVÁ FYZIKA 1. Částicové vlastnosti vln. Záření, Planckova kvantová hypotéza, fotoelektrický jev, rentgenové záření, Comptonův jev. 2. Vlnové vlastnosti částic. Vlnová povaha mikročástic, dualismus vln a částic. 3. Základy vlnové mechaniky. Základní představy vlnové mechaniky, princip neurčitosti, Schrödingerova rovnice a její aplikace. VIII. MIKROČÁSTICE 1. Elementární částice. Pojem, vlastnosti, rozdělení. 2. Elektronový obal atomu. Vývoj představ o stavbě atomu, kvantová teorie atomu vodíku, stavba víceelektronových atomů. 3. Jádro atomu. Stavba, vazebná energie, radioaktivita, jaderné reakce, využití jaderné energie, detekce a dozimetrie jaderného záření.
