The course is taught introductory subject to the direction Defektoskopie. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with basic knowledge in crack detection and diagnosis. The theoretical findings are practically trained on simple measurements.

Subject syllabus:

Taught introductory course is subject to direction Defektoskopie. The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basic knowledge of the issues and non-destructive diagnostics. The theoretical findings are practically trained on simple measurements. Course Content 1. Introductory lecture. Basic concepts of basic flaw detection and diagnosis 2. Introduction to the physics of diagnostic 3. Characteristic defects 4. Ultrasonic flaw detection 5. Radiography 6. Leakage flux method 7. Magnetic and electromagnetic methods 8. Methods of eddy currents 9. Capillary methods 10. Visual search method defects 11. The method of acoustic emission 12. Unconventional methods 13. Standardization in nondestructive crack detection
