Define the basic concepts of mathematical statistics for describing results of measurement
Explain the mathematical statistical methods for calculation of measurement uncertainty
Interpret the calculated methods of standard measurement uncertainty
Analyse the results of simple measurements

Lectures

Experimental work in labs

The course provides an overview of methods and techniques of measurement of
physical quantities. It includes the preparation and measurement of
mechanical, acoustic, thermal, electric and optical quantities. Students will
deepen their knowledge of processing measured values by uncertainties,
including graphical processing.
