Student collects and describes the basic principles and basic definitions of fluid mechanics Student analyses phenomena in fluids from the point of view of physical theories According to the topic of diploma thesis, student applies chosen phenomena for solution of the problem of technical practice

Summary

Předmět shrnuje základní principy a základní definice mechaniky tekutin a prohlubuje fyzikální znalosti mechanických, elektrických a tepelných vlastností tekutin. Zahrnuje hydrostatiku a hydrodynamiku tekutin, proudění tekutin, teorii fyzikální podobnosti a metody vizualizace proudění a umožňuje analyzovat jevy v tekutinách z hlediska fyzikálních teorií. Rozebírány jsou problémy týkající se kapalných a plynných paliv, jejich charakteristik, fyzikální přípravy ke spalování, pohybu tekutin v biologických systémech a problematika kapalinových paprsků. Jsou aplikovány jednoduché vztahy popisující fyzikální jevy na výpočet parametrů toku.Důraz je kladen na pochopení rozdílů v chování kapalin či tekutin, a to především z hlediska toku, výtoku, divergence v prostředí, kterým se paprsek tekutiny pohybuje, a ztrát energie. Jsou rozebírány vlivy speciálních typů prostředí na chování proudu tekutiny. Cílem je naučit studenty použít fyzikální principy při hledání zdrojů zlepšení konstrukce zařízení pracujících s tekutinami a analyzovat vybrané jevy ve vztahu k jejich uplatnění v technické praxi.

Articles in International Journal of Machine Tools & Manufacture, Journal of Materials Processing Technology, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, etc.
