Summary

The subject belongs to a group of objects constituting the professional profile of the student. It builds the student's knowledge of basic physics course. These skills are also in lectures developed in the field of mechanical waves and propagation of mechanical waves in the material, in particular ultrasound waves. The knowledge acquired is then used in the practice of detecting defects in materials using ultrasonic diagnostic methods. The exercises are practical. In practical exercises are theoretical knowledge must be applied using modern ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus for real defects in metal and non-metallic preparations and products. The subject has an application focus.

Compulsory literature:

1. Physical measurements, et al., Ostrava 1993 2. CSN 010115 terminology in metrology 3. Non-destructive testing of materials - Practical (PTS - Josef Solnař) 4. Obraz, J.: Ultrasonic testing material. SNTL, Prague, 1989

Recommended literature:

1. Syllabus: Introduction to the theory of physical measurement 2. Kapoun, K. P. Wyslych: Selected chapters of modern Technical Physics, Technical University, Ostrava, 1987

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
