Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

To measure laboratory tasks in the field of nondestructive testing of materials at the special laboratory of Institute of Physics

Teaching methods

Experimental work in labs

Summary

In this course students will learn all the methods used at the Institute physics. Following the practice of studying the relationship of non-destructive material testing NDT) and production, the use of non-destructive testing during the production, especially determining defects in the material surface.

Compulsory literature:

1. Physical measurements, et al., Ostrava 1993 2. CSN 010115 terminology in metrology 3. Obraz, J.: Ultrasonic testing material. SNTL, Prague, 1989

Recommended literature:

1. Syllabus: Introduction to the theory of physical measurement 2. Professional articles and texts specified laboratory head, doctoral and diploma work at the Institute of Physics. 3. Non-destructive testing of materials - Practical (PTS - Josef Solnař)

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Check preparedness exercises - in writing and orally. Control of measurement processing - laboratory diary. Submitting the report.
