Summary

The aim of the subject Physical Electronics is to present students the base of physical phenomena taking place in semiconductors and properties of contacts S-S, M-S, M-I-S. Transport phenomena, behaviour of semiconductors in various kinds of fields and interface and volume processes are also described and interpreted.

1. Quantum systems of electronics – conductivity of solids 2. Semiconductors 3. Transition 4. Simple and multiple pn transitions 5. Additional features of pn transitions 6. Structures metal-semiconductor and metal-isolator-semiconductor 7. Transistor-controlled field with pn transition 8. Noises in semiconductors and transport phenomena 9. Electronic processes at the interface caused by field and radiation 10. Radiation and the substance
