Cílem předmětu je podat studujícím základní znalosti o fyzikálních
procesech probíhajících při interakci kapalinového paprsku s látkou, a to
podle jejího stavu. Hlavní důraz je kladen na pochopení rozdílných
interakčních projevů různých typů kapalinového paprsku (čistá kapalina,
kapalina s kapalnými aditivy - polymery, kapalina s pevnolátkovými aditivy -
abrazivy, kapalina v neobvyklých termodynamických stavech) na látkách
v pevné fázi. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována odlišnostem ve fyzikálním
procesu v závislosti na struktuře pevné fáze a jejím termodynamickém stavu.
