Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student outlines basic legal regulations concerning commercial law, especially of business companies. Student is oriented in concepts of intellectual property protection, relating to industrial property. Student applies knowledge of the copyright, creation of works, their protection and use.

Summary

Studenti v předmětu získají základní přehled o obchodním právu. Seznámí se s legislativou spojenou s ochranou průmyslového vlastnictví, základními pojmy z oblasti průmyslového vlastnictví jako je patent, užitný vzor, ochranná známka, průmyslový vzor apod. Prakticky se seznámí s formuláři Úřadu průmyslového vlastnictví a psaním přihlášek pro tento úřad.

No English literature is suggested for this course because there has not been published any. Various standards and law documents valid in the Czech Republic together with internal and security regulations of a particular company are used instead.

Subject syllabus:

Introduction to the basic laws relating to commercial law, particularly the commercial companies. Study of basic concepts of industrial law. Introduction to copyright law, creating works of their protection and exploitation.
