Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Student analyses physical phenomena present in plasma, he combines knowledge from the classical and quantum physics in the description of plasma, he summarises knowledge and experiences and he interprets knowledge in terms of solution of the practical problems.

Summary
The aim of the subject Plasma Physics is to present students the basic
physical processes running in plasma, their mathematical description and
practical impact of them. Specific properties of plasma generated in
laboratory and plasma for industrial use or accompanying industrial processes
are analysed in more detail.
