Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Zadejte text nebo adresu webu nebo přeložte dokument. Zrušit Překlad (česky > anglicky) Classify properties of rocks in terms of general and in terms of physics Compare different properties in terms of their causes and explain their relationship Analyze lessons learned Inferred from the general to the individual Compile different parts of the teaching of literature

Teaching methods

Individual consultations

The subject adds the rocks to the context of solid matter from point of view of physics. Introduce of the physical – technical rocks parameters (mechanical, acoustic, thermodynamics and magnetic.) The influence of the external and internal factors is studied for these parameters – physical properties and their causality.

Compulsory literature:

Zwicker, C.: Physical Properties of Solid Materials. Pergamon Press, London, 2002 Physical Properties of the Mineral of the Earth´s Interior, GFÚČAV and JČMF, Praha, 1995

Recommended literature:

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
