Summary

From the physical point of view his subject classifies rocks as inhomogeneous materials in context to solid substances. It observes the physical a technical characteristic of rock and the impact of external and internal factors on these characteristics. In conclusion it observes mutual connections of properties and physical phenomena of rocks.

Compulsory literature:

1. Zwicker, C.: Physical properties of solid materials. Pergamon Press, London, 1994. 2. Physical Properties of the Mineral Systems of the Earths Interior, GFÚ ČAV and JČMF, Praha, 1995.
