Summary
The aim of the subject is to broaden both the theoretical pieces of knowledge on parts of physics with close relationship to the technical practice. The establishment of both the theoretical and practical knowledge in the sphere of material strength, hydrodynamics and thermodynamics with a direct linkage to the ageing processes and material disintegration, mechanical vibration and waves with a linkage to material disintegration and acoustics, electromagnetic radiation with a linkage to photometry and diagnostic methods based on electromagnetic radiation or radioactive materials. The attention is focused on building materials and/or rock materials and physical processes of their aging under various physical conditions. The subject inherently includes also the principles of various physical methods intended for diagnostics of materials and also both the classic and the non-traditional methods of materials processing, especially machining.
