Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Student is able to identify and classify measurement methods applicable for determination of water jet parameters. He is able to apply his knowledge in selection of the proper measurement method and respective components. Student analyses measured data, designs modifications of measurement methods and respective components, judges limits od applicability of methods and measuring components and predicts results of measurement.

Summary
The subject is aimed at analysis of special conditions present at measurement of liquid jets and their impact on material and at the project of respective measurement methods and measuring devices.

Respective articles from journals like Control Engineering Practice, Journal of Process Control, Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing and other ones.

Subject syllabus:
1) Acquaint with measuring devices of the Laboratory of liquid jet at the Institute of Physics, Faculty of mining and geology, VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava
2) Measure selected parameters of water jet or its impact on material and perform evaluation of the measured data.
