Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Knowledge and explanation how to recognise the common morphological features of the fossil plants and animals. Identification of the fossils in the paleontological system.

Summary

The course is devoted to the basics of paleontology. Explain the origin and preservation of fossils. Students are acquainted with basic systematic phytopaleontology, the importance of Protozoa and overview of the classification of Metazoa.
