Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Goal of the subject is to provide knowledge to the university student, so he/she will be able to understand given points at issue good enough to apply them in practical work. Student also obtains ability to partially analyse, categorize and classify major requirements of the documentation and sampling for geological works.

1. Classification of the geological documentation (primary, overall, material). 2-3. Primary geological documentation of exploratory, opening and mining works. 4. Material geological documentation, rules and principles of sampling 5. Sample types, preparation of samples, its transport 6-7. Systems of sampling 8. Role of samples 9. Sampling mistakes. 10-11. Overall geological documentation, its origin and practical use. 12. Geological documentation in prospection and mining organizations. 13. Utilization of the geological documentation for preparation and processing of the reserve estimation. 14. Registration, preservation and archivation of the geological documentation.
