Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Goal of the subject is to provide knowledge to the university student, so he/she will
be able to understand given points at issue good enough to apply them in practical
work. Student also obtains ability to partially analyse, categorize and classify major requirements of the eological and mining legislation for geological works.
Teaching methods
Lectures
Summary
Problems of the legal protection of the mineral endowment (mining law),
geological exploration and mining are explained. History and developmnet of the
mining law. Significance of the mining law for protection of the mineral deposits.
Main legal institutes are demonstrated. Attention is also focus on geological
exploration, geological documentation and responsibilities of the mining
companies. Subject is focus on aplications mining law and other legal regulations
in geologic and mining practice.

Subject syllabus:
1. Horní zákon, účel a význam, jeho historické kořeny, princip evropského
horního práva
2. Základní instituty horního práva a jejich význam.
3. Právní ochrana nerostného bohatství a její legislativní zabezpečení.
4. Hlavní okruhy předpisů horního práva.
5. Právní zajištění oblasti geologického průzkumu.
6. Právní zajištění oblasti hospodaření se zásobami ložisek nerostů.
7. Využívání ložisek nerostů a jeho právní souvislosti.(povolování a
ohlašování hornické činnosti,•plán otvírky a přípravy dobývání),
8. Úhrady a finanční rezervy související s hornickou činnost.
9. Ochrana ložisek nerostů a její právní řešení, důlní škody.
10. Evidence zásob ložisek nerostů a její význam.
