Our intention is to provide a broad coverage of topics (see annotation of the course) in order to acquaint students with the basic principles of the subject taught and their practical applications.

Summary

Hydrosphere and water in rock environment. Basic hydrogeological terminology of water bearing rock environment. Fundamentals of hydrochemistry . Hydrological characteristics of drainage area. Geohydrodynamic systems and their classification. Groundwater regime, measurements and evaluation. Applied hydrogeology - tasks. Prospection and remediation of contaminated groundwater, prospection for surface and underground waste repositoriy constructions. Groundwater quality prospection, zones of hygienic protection, legislation.
