Summary

Geology - disciplines and methods. The rock cycle. Endogenous and exogenous dynamic of the Earth. Earth crust - plate tectonics. Fundamental principles of stratigraphy and sedimentology - bedding, formations etc. Secondary structures - Fold, Faults and other records of rock deformation. Earthquakes. Magmatism - magma and classification of magmatic body`s structures. Volcanism. Metamorphosis. Exogenous dynamic - weathering, erosion, soil profiles. Surface processes. Mass wasting - preventing landslides. Hydrologic cycle and groundwater - fundamental principles of mutual interaction.
