Subjects inform students about the methods of geological survey and geotechnical survey sites for the use and foundation of future buildings.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Checking knowledge during the semester in the consultations. To gain credits, students hand in programs. The course is completed by an examination, which may be scheduled having gained the initial credit. The examination is divided into a written and oral part.

1. Components influencing the engineering geological environment conditions.
2. Engineering geological survey. Geomorphology.
3. Engineering geological characteristics and classification of rocks and rock massifs. Stress rock massifs.
4. Hydrogeological conditions. Geodynamic processes .
5. Processing of archival material Geofond CR needed in the engineering geological survey.
6. File special thematic maps and a selection of other maps used in engineering geological practice. Engineering geological maps .
7. The description and classification of rocks and soils by European standards.
8. Classification of rock excavation.
9. Approximate assessment of certain characteristics of soils.
10. Documentation of engineering geological wells.
11. The design of the engineering geological cross-sections.
12. Selected chemical analyzes of waters and soils for engineering geological purposes.
13. Creating final reports engineering geological survey.
