Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the subject is that the students are able to define the significance of visited places for the selected region from the point of view of tourism. Students can be from the point of view of the tourism industry to choose locations that have the greatest tourism potential. Completing the excursion, students will gain basic experience about organizing, presentation and they will learn what mistakes they have to avoid and what mistakes the organization provides for excursions.

Summary

Students go to on the five-day excursions with the practical use of theoretical knowledge gained in lectures and exercises. After completing this exercise students will gain the ability to organize events of a similar nature. Gained experience can be use in their further professional activities.

Completion of a three-day excursion, completion of field notebook to the head of excursions, completion of essay with a description of the visited locations.

Subject syllabus:

A three-day excursion will be focused on the interesting tourist localities in the pre-selected region. Excursion is focused on the geological and natural attractions. Visited location will be presented from the point of view of geological, natural and tourist.
