Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Identify and define the types of services used in tourism, to link legislation in the Czech Republic and its application in legal relations between the travel agency and the participants in tourism. Know the principles of advertising and promotion in the preparation of the tourism event, apply the principles of the economic balance sheet and the subsequent evaluation of the work of travel agencies.

Summary
Students will learn about the nature and the system of tourism, with different types and forms. The course gives information about the character and the specifics of tourism services as well as various types of basic and complementary services in the tourism such as travel agency and agency services, transport services by road, rail, air and ship, as well as accommodation and catering services, insurance services, spa services and customs, foreign and visa obligations in the implementation of tourism. The aim is to provide students with an overview of individual tourism services (basic and supplementary) familiar with their essence and peculiarities. The subject contains basic information about legal relations in the field of tourism. The aim is also to equip students with the basic skills to provide individual tourism services and to stimulate the development of their management and organizational skills.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Knowledge are checked during the semester by a semester project and presentations in MS PowerPoint. The course is completed by an examination, which may be scheduled having gained the initial credit. The examination is divided into a written and oral part.

Seminar work on the given topic and a written exam verifying the knowledge in the scope of professional literature, content of lectures and exercises.
