Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim is understanding the reasons, classification and significance of UNESCO monuments as a selected World Cultural Heritage and the Earth's natural wealth. The aim is also to getting an overview of the most important UNESCO monuments in the Czech Republic, and also foreign locations. To getting this basic system, and overview of the UNESCO monuments will allow to students to gain knowledge, which will then be able to apply for guided activities on the geotourist and montane locations.

Summary

Also with the UNESCO classification of cultural heritage monuments, as well as the UNESCO classification of natural resources. They will learn about the principles and principles of UNESCO's selection of monuments. The subject is focused on the description of UNESCO sights, as a cultural UNESCO monuments in the Czech Republic, as well as natural parks and landscape areas of UNESCO in the Czech Republic. Students will be acquainted with the description of the shorter selection of UNESCO monuments in Europe, as well as a narrower selection of natural parks and landscape areas in Europe. They get a clear selection of UNESCO sights in the remaining continents. The subject will be a sample application of the acquired knowledge in one case study.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Knowledge are checked during the semester by a semester project and presentations in MS PowerPoint. The course is completed by an examination, which may be scheduled having gained the initial credit. The examination is divided into a written and oral part.
