Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Goal of the subject is to provide knowledge to the university student, so he/she will
be able to understand given points at issue good enough to analyse its content, to
realise synthesis of the acquired information and its evaluation. This sciential base
allow student to compare results of the synthesis, propose modifications and
solve the problems of the mining geology and reserve estimation

Summary
Human society and deposits of mineral raw materials. A deposit as an object of
geological exploration and mining, information on deposits and issues of their
processing and evaluation. Exploration of the deposits of mineral raw material,
its design and management on various stages of deposit development. Principles
of keeping the geological-technical documentation of deposits of mineral raw
materials. Principles and goals of sampling the deposits of mineral raw
materials. Reserves of the deposits of mineral raw materials, geological and
economical models of deposits, reserves structure and methods of their
derivation, records, reserves balance and management, the role and importance
of reserves in the process of exploration, exploitation and liquidation of
deposits of mineral raw materials. The Mining Act and subsequent laws in
relation to mining geology, major tasks and methods of management of the
geological service.

Lidská společnost a ložiska nerostných surovin
Ložisko jako objekt geologického průzkumu a těžby, zdroje informací o ložiscích
nerostných surovin, geologický, báňsko-technický, matematicko-statistický a
ekonomický obraz ložiska
Geologický průzkum ložisek nerostných surovin, jeho cíle a úkoly v jednotlivých
etapách osvojení ložiska
Geologicko-technická dokumentace ložisek nerostných surovin, prvotní a souhrná
geologická dokumentace, speciální mapy ložiska, využití počítačové grafiky
Vzorkování ložisek nerostných surovin důležitý předpoklad jejich úspěšného
průzkumu a dobývání, cíle vzorkování ložisek, nerostných surovin, technika
odběru vzorků, druhy vzorků, zpracování výsledků a jejich využití pro ocenění
zásob a řízení těžby ložiska
Výpočet zásob ložisek nerostných surovin, základní terminologie zásob, význam
stanovení podmínek využitelnosti zásob a metody výpočtu zásob
Zásady tvorby geologických modelů ložisek nerostných surovin
Zásady tvorby ekonomických modelů ložisek nerostných surovin
