Summary

Human society and deposits of mineral raw materials. A deposit as an object of geological exploration and mining, information on deposits and issues of their processing and evaluation. Exploration of the deposits of mineral raw material, its design and management on various stages of deposit development. Principles of keeping the geological-technical documentation of deposits of mineral raw materials. Principles and goals of sampling the deposits of mineral raw materials. Reserves of the deposits of mineral raw materials, geological and economical models of deposits, reserves structure and methods of their derivation, records, reserves balance and management, the role and importance of reserves in the process of exploration, exploitation and liquidation of deposits of mineral raw materials. The Mining Act and subsequent laws in relation to mining geology, major tasks and methods of management of the geological service.
