Summary

The subject gives the main brief characterization of geophysical methods. In every method group or every method it gives the characterization of measured physical field, equipments, methodics of measurements and data processing , the anomaly kinds a their interpretations. The object also talks about examples of geophysical methods utilization.

Subject syllabus:

1. Postavení geofyziky v naukách o Zemi, základní pojmy (geofyzikální pole, normální a anomální pole, základní způsoby zobrazování naměřených dat, jejich zpracování a interpretace), rozdělení geofyzikálních metod podle různých hledisek. 2. Metody gravimetrické. 3. Metody magnetometrické. 4. Metody geoelektrické - metody stejnosměrného proudu, - metody elektrochemické, - metody elektromagnetické. 5. Metody seismické - s přirozeným zdrojem vlnění, - s umělým zdrojem vlnění. 6. Metody radionuklidové - metody radiometrické, metody jaderné geofyziky. 7. Metody geotermické - kontaktní, bezkontaktní. 8. Karotážní metody. U každé skupiny či konkrétní metody charakteristika měřeného pole, přístrojové techniky, metodiky měření a zpracování dat, typů zjištěných anomálií a jejich interpretace, příklady využití metody pro řešení konkrétních geologických či technických úloh.
