Summary

The subject informs of utilization of geophysical methods in mining. On the basis of Earth physics knowledge there are given the main principles of geophysical methods, which can help in solving problems joined with mining (seismic, electrical, thermic, magnetic, gravimetric methods etc.). There are shown in concreate examples solved tasks of study physical-mechanical state of rock massif and their changes, of study of dynamic manifestations in rock masssif, in the course of surface and subsurface construction, of assessment mining effects on surface and environment.
