Summary

The definition of the term “deposit geology”. Its relation to geological, mining and economic disciplines. The role of mineral raw materials for the economy of the state. Basic terms of deposit geology, factors affecting the role of mineral raw materials and deposits. The mineralogical composition of deposits of mineral raw materials, types of the classifications of deposits of mineral raw materials. Geological conditions of the origin of deposits of mineral raw materials in the Earth shell. The genesis of deposits of mineral raw materials (magmatic, pegmatite, carbonatite, greisen, contact metasomatic, hydrothermal, hydrothermal-sedimentary, hydrogenic, weathering, sedimentary, metamorphic deposits). Regularities of the time and space localization of deposits of mineral raw materials. Minerogenetic phases, minerogenetic provinces. Minerogenetic conditions of the Czech Republic. Basic industrial types of metalliferous, nonmetalliferous deposits, deposits of fuels and energy minerals and hydromineral deposits. An overview of the base of mineral raw materials of the Czech Republic.
