Study of the general methodological problems and issues, an overview of theoretical foundations and methodology in practice, geological survey, the student receives basic skills for solving particular tasks.

The course is given to: main problems of geological survey, deposit basics, hydrogeological and engineering geological survey, various methods used in practice, processing of the project of geological work.

Subject syllabus:

Characteristics of the geological survey. Theoretical basis of the geological survey. Methods of geological research and survey. Exploratory technical resources, prospecting methodology works. Predictive assessment of the interested area. Sampling of the geological objects. Deposit survey. Hydrogeological and engineering geological exploration. Optimization of the geological survey.
