Summary

The subject makes the students acquainted with a historical development of the European countries from the late prehistoric ages and the beginnings of European population development till the present. With respect to the shortcut range of the classwork in the last year of study in the branch Geoscience and Industrial Tourism the range of lectures is adequately modified in this subject. The individual thematic spheres of action are directed at these problems – Europe in the late prehistoric ages, beginnings of European population, important empires on the territory of Europe, the development of individual states in various parts of Europe from their beginnings to the present days. The significant part of lectures is paid to the 20th century and to the European development after year of 1990.

Compulsory literature:

The study is in Czech language only. Needless to the English literature.
