Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The main goal of this subject is to make students acquained with the fundamental principles connected with the care of human being. The students learn, in the light of field of study, how to outline and discribe individual variants of acute of the man, record a possible danger and, on the basis of an analytical examintion of the situation, to organise necessary precautions leading to the rescue of him. They learn to make a practice of their theoretical konwledge in the factual simulated cases and also by the utilization of an analysis to differentiate between less and more danger patienthood, to identify a possible source of danger endangering health of a wounded man and to point out and realize such a precautions as to lead to his rescue.

Summary

The subject gives the information about human somatology and physiology which are a basis for solution of acute cases implemented within the frame of the first rescue (contens of tutorials). This subject makes students acquainted with the public health organization, public health preservation and basic problems of hygiene. It is built up, using these thematical units – parts of human body; somatology and physiology; characteristics of infectious disease; civilizing illnesses; public health organization; public health preservation; the fate of pharmaceuticals in human body.
