Our intention is to provide a broad coverage of topics (see annotation of the course) in order to acquaint students with the basic principles of the subject taught and their practical applications.

Summary
Importance of structural-tectonic pattern for formation of hydrogeological
conditions in CR, hydrogeological characteristic of particular areas,
groundwater and hydrologic zoning, genesis and distribution of mineral and
thermal waters in CR.

Groundwater occurrence – basins, hydrogeological masisive, hard rocks. Importance of structures and disconformities. Hydrogeology of regions in Czech republic. Hydrogeological zones, genesis of mineral and thermal water.
