Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The objective is comprehension of survey methods and tranaction philosophy in engineering geology and hydrogeology. Students must be able after graduation practically and separately suggest, realize and evaluate relevant geological works.

Znalostí jsou v průběhu semestru kontrolovány pomocí semestrálních programů. Studium předmětu je zakončeno zkouškou, ke které lze přistoupit až po získání zápočtu. Zkouška má písemnou a ústní část.

Subject syllabus:

1. Purpose complexis survey methods (field testing, laboratory testing). 2. Resources archive dates and possibilities actual information systems. 3. Kinds, periods, purposes and results of investigations, their presentations, composition of final reports. 4. Exploratory works for constructions in I. geotechnical category. 5. Exploratory works for constructions in II and III. geotechnical category. 6. Deep foundation. 7. Line traffic construction. 8. Landslides. 9. Engineering nets. 10. Hydrotechnics constructions. 11. Special constructions. 12. Graveyards. 13. Investigations and activities for landscape planning. 14. Water Infiltration. 15. Construction of surface and underground wastes yards. 16. Investigation and saving groundwater pollution. 17. Small, individual water resources. 18. Water resources for collective supply. 19. Thermal and acidulous waters. 20.Legislative frames of survey methods, law recipes and standards.
