Inženýrsko-geologická charakteristika hornin a horninových masívů. Geodynamické procesy - prognóza a hodnocení rizik. Metody IG průzkumu. Obecné zásady a principy hodnocení základových poměrů pro pozemní a podzemní stavby, rekonstrukce, ochranu devastovaných území. Prognóza interakce mezi horninovým prostředím a stavbami Voda v horninovém prostředí - základní hydrogeologické pojmy zvodněného horninového prostředí. Hydrologické charakteristiky povodí - rovnice hydrologické bilance. Základy proudění a akumulace podzemní vody v horninovém prostředí. Metody zjišťování hydraulických parametrů zvodněného horninového prostředí. Geohydrodynamické systémy podzemní vody a jejich klasifikace. Režim podzemních vod. Základy hydrogeochemie (agresivita vod). Metody hydrogeologického průzkumu. Úkoly aplikované geologie se zaměřením na potřeby stavitelství (odvodňování stavebních jam, liniových staveb, tunelů apod.)
