Our intention is to provide a broad coverage of topics (see annotation of the course) in order to acquaint students with the basic principles of the subject taught and their practical applications.

processes – advection, hydrodynamic dispersion, sorption, degradation.
Preventive groundwater protection. Management and strategy of groundwater
protection. Drinking water protection zones, monitoring systems. Groundwater
quality and quantity protection, groundwater contamination exploration.
Groundwater remediation methods, active and passive protection measures.
Legislation in groundwater and surface water protection.
