Subject of Geomorphology, geomorphological terminology, geomorphological processes, global structure geomorphology – plate tectonics model, structure geomorphology of continents, rocks properties and its role in geomorphological processes and georelief development, neotectonics and recent geotectonical processes, earthquakes and geomorphological processes, geomorphology of volcanic areas, slope processes and slope development, fluvial, glacial and eolian geomorphological processes, biogenetic and anthropogenic geomorphological processes, climatic geomorphology.

Subject syllabus:

1.Základní geomorfologické koncepce, předmět geomorfologie. Rozdělení obecné geomorfologie. Geomorfologická terminologie, typy georeliéfu. Geomorfologické procesy. 2.Globální strukturní geomorfologie - model nové globální tektoniky (resp. plate tectonics). 3.Strukturní geomorfologie pevnin. Vlastnosti hornin a jejich úloha při vzniku georeliéfu. Úložné poměry hornin a georeliéf. 4.Neotektonické a recentní pohyby a jejich úloha při utváření georeliéfu. Zemětřesení a georeliéf. 5.Magmatické reliéfotvorné pochody a vulkanický georeliéf pevnin. 6.Strukturní a dynamická geomorfologie oceánského dna. 7.Dynamická geomorfologie pevnin. Zvětrávací pochody. Půdotvorné pochody. Svahové pochody a vývoj svahů. 8.Fluviální pochody - voda v krajině. Marinní pochody v břežním pásmu. 9.Kryogenní pochody a jejich význam pro modelaci georeliéfu. 10.Eolické (větrné) procesy a tvary georeliéfu jimi podmíněné. 11.Biogenní pochody a jimi vytvořené tvary. Antropogenní vlivy a jimi podmíněné geomorfologické pochody. Astroproblémy a meteorické krátery. 12.Klimatická geomorfologie. Změny intenzity exogenních geomorfologických pochodů v závislosti na podnebí. Klimatomorfogenetické zóny a oblasti.
